Our Technicians have a combined total of over 35 years of industry experience. Troubleshooting any problem starts with listening very carefully to the customer and asking leading questions to gather as much information as possible before you ever begin working on a particular problem. From there, it is a process of elimination to get to the root of the problem. RTS technicians approach each issue with the following things in mind:
- The K.I.S.S. Method. “Keep It Simple, Stupid” means to look for the easiest solutions instead of running straight for the most catastrophic conclusion first. There are any number of factors involved in accurately diagnosing and fixing IT issues so it is important to work form easiest to hardest.
- Never EVER do more harm than good. If you are not sure what you are doing, it is better to stop and do some research or call another staff member than to go forward and make things worse for a customer.
- All technology is rooted in logic so if you implement a “fix” that either doesn’t hold each time you test it, is overcomplicated, or goes outside of a standard set of troubleshooting protocols, then it probably is not a fix at all.
- Despite everything we know, the most important assumption we can make is that we could be wrong (that’s why we ask lots of questions)
The technicians at RTS hold at least one industry recognized certification. We do not hire staff that cannot prove through rigorous testing and a minimum of 1-year experience in the field that they are qualified to be called an RTS staff member. Combined, our technicians have the following credentials:
CCDA, CCNA, CCNP, MCTS, MCSE, A+, Network +
Comprehensive Service & Support
At RTS, we know that being a technology company is greater than just knowing about computers. There is a whole world of devices and peripherals that connect or interact with your computer, the internet, your TV, or each other and they need servicing at times as well. If it plugs in, blinks, or beeps and you are having trouble getting it to do what it is supposed to do, we will send one of our certified technicians out to you and help you get things back to normal. RTS is more than just your “Computer Repair” Company.
As part of getting to know your business, RTS will have one of or certified experts come to your location for a FREE 1-hour consultation to discuss your IT operations and develop recommendations or suggestions to help you improve your business and answer any questions you have about our services. This is completely FREE and you will not be pressured to schedule an appointment. It is our hope that after your consultation you will want to have RTS back to implement the items identified during your visit.
